Our training prepares, and enables, the candidate to apply for an assessment. Which following a successful outcome, would result in a NPTC City & Guilds Certificate of Competence being awarded. NPTC is a Part A accredited awarding body with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) which embraces DELLS for Wales and CCEA for Northern Ireland. We have similar recognition in Scotland with the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). A Certificate of Competence demonstrates that the successful candidate has experience, technical knowledge and ability which have been independently and reliably assessed. The NPTC City &Guilds award is the only Certificate of Competence issued in the field of off-road driving. The assessment can be extended to include trailer handling in the workplace, the safe use of winches, and the use of ATV’s as well. It is recognised nationally and internationally by employers and regulatory authorities.
