Off-Road Training
Our Off-Road Driving consists of a two-day course based at either our centres in the South East, South West, Midlands, North Yorkshire, South Wales and Scotland. We could also use a location provided by the customer, following an assessment of the site. The course incorporates classroom based learning as well as practical onsite training.
Winch Training
The use of vehicle borne winches, and hand operated winch’s, can be of great asset to operatives working in the field. However, there are a number of risk factors and safety considerations that must be taken into account when operating vehicle borne winches.
We therefore offer a One Day training course, leading to an Assessment of Competence. This qualification can be added to the Off-Road Driving qualification which must have been obtained first.
ATV Training
We run courses in the use of ATV’s this includes Quads, Wheel All terrain vehicles, multi-wheeled vehicles, and tracked vehicles.
We have a purpose built training facility, offering real experience to the ATV user.
Our courses are run to either NPTC City & Guilds or Lantra assessment standard over one or two days depending on candidate experience.
Trailer Training
The use of trailers in the workplace is now becoming more of a risk and lack of training can lead to issues around security and technique.
We therefore offer a one day bolt on training course, leading to an Assessment of Competence. This qualification can be added to the Off-Road Driving qualification or taken separately.
Specialist Training
We are able offer courses designed around your particular company or organisation and professional needs. These in include NGO and charity training for overseas work, vehicle familiarisation and site specific training.
We also offer remote location training for individuals or companies, for loan worker or group work tasks. We are able to provide short “Toolbox Talks” to assist in your companies training programmes. This can be in a wide variety of subjects, such as Safe use of Winches, Correct recovery techniques etc.
